Praise the Lord and greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I would like to say thank you and God bless you for all the hard work that you do. This year our focus for the year is to develop God's kingdom and for God's people to be kingdom conscious. Our focus is to totally focus on advancing God's kingdom.

Jesus wrote in Luke 12:31, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you". Jesus primary focus was on His kingdom being established on earth. The Living Bible gives a translation to Luke 12:34 as, "wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts also". Our treasures are those things that are most precious to us. They are also gifts from God and we must not put things first, but Him and sow back into the kingdom for the purpose of advancing it.

There are many things that have drawn God's people away from His purpose. We have been more concerned with our personal security, such as money, natural health; spiritual elevations; our concern with the lost and the unsaved has been replaced by selfish desires and excuses.

I believe more than ever that the Lord is soon to come, but before He comes His prayer will be answered, Matthew 6:10 "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven". So this season our primary focus is to advance God's kingdom, we will not sit by passively, but with much prayer and standing on His Word we will be victorious.

Remember the Word of God in Matthew 11:12, " the kingdom of God suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force". Those words  "take by force" or "Biazo" which is to over power speak to how we must look at advancing the kingdom.

So remember everything has to be with purpose and " Biazo" force, so get ready for this is the year of restoration, renewal, and revival.

Yours in Christ,

Bishop  Melvin T. Taylor
