"Our treasures are those things that are most precious to us. They are also gifts from God and we must not put things first, but Him and sow back into the kingdom for the purpose of advancing it."
-Bishop Melvin T. Taylor

The Spiritual History of Bishop Taylor began in 1988 when he rededicated his life to God, accepted the call of salvation and received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. Pastor Taylor received his early Christian training at Zion Temple Apostolic church under the pastorate of Pastor Dorothy Barnes and later Bishop Mark A Moore Sr. After serving in many capacities, Sunday school teacher, bus driver, outreach leader, Deacon, and as a minister.
